We knew each other as toddlers, met briefly again in our tweens, and yet again as young adults. It always marvelled me that no matter how lengthy the distance of time, you were always ready with a hug and those smiling eyes. Those eyes that will never be forgotten. Thinking of your family in this difficult time, I send my love and prayers, to Janet and Sarah, Tante Inge, Onkel Kurt, Karen and Heidi and their families. Until we meet again, love Birgit. - Posted by: Birgit Barca (Crib Besties) on: May 25, 2015

I used to love having Fred as a pool partner at the Black Night and the Norvilla. We would play all night long and wouldnt have to buy a drink all night long - Fred would keep taking tables. We used to have great times down-hilling in Aspen Colorado- a place with so many memories and good times. Fred's pool hall in Vegas was another place with lots of good times- what happens in Vegas.....Went on one last golf trip with Fred to San Antonio and regret we wont be able to golf together some more. We have known Fred for at least 40+ yrs. Had some great vacations, parties & many laughs over the years. Fred was the kind of friend you could always count on. He loved to build things and would help his friends build so long as he was in charge & could do it his way. Which was always the right way! He loved Janet & Sarah very much. He was loved by us & we know we are all going to miss Fred. We already do. When we think of Freddie the 1st thing that comes to mind is the french phrase 'Joie de vivre' - As he truly had a zest & triumphant joy for life every single day. Fred, My big bro. Although we didn't spend much time together until you became the cool uncle, I admire your zeal for a good time. If the "game of life" was not based on longevity but rather living life to the fullest you would win the prize. You've always been a winner to me. Will miss ya.
