So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Although we haven't been in touch for many years, he and his family have always been in our thoughts and we have many fond memories of our "growing-up" years in Manitoba. He will be missed by cousins Elaine Moggey (nee Moffatt) and Colleen Moffatt and aunt Marguerite Moffatt. - Posted by: Elaine Moggey (cousin) on: May 27, 2015

I remember the lazy days of summer as a child at the Alton farm!! Bill being much younger (2 years!!) was a fun loving boy with a Huge smile, who desperately wanted to be with we older cousins. Glorious memories of the innocence of childhood. May you be walking in the sun filled fields of the next life Bill. Our condolences to your family as I am sure you will be missed. - Posted by: Roberta Lloyd (Cousin) on: May 26, 2015

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I met Bill and Connie in Winnipeg many years ago. Back then we called him Willy. We were always making music together either with the band or just Willy and his guitar. I remember laughing a lot! Both Bill and Connie were always such warm hearted people and always made me feel welcome. My daughter and I stayed with them in St. Albert years ago for a long weekend and had such a memorable time. No visit was complete without singing Calendar Girls with giant rhubarb leaf hats on! In 3 part harmony of course! Bill your warm heart and generous spirit will be missed by all who loved you! So sorry to hear of Bill's passing even though we have been out of touch for many years. Lots of good "old" memories, ie Billie trying to set up his own Band in McMillan's kitchen and desperately wanting someone to be his lead singer. I am sure we were all of the age of 16 at the time! - Posted by: Bev and Len Bachewich, Lila Curtis, Lorraine Makinson (Friends from Highschool in Austin, Mb.) on: May 24, 2015
