Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA DEDICK (nee PASTUCK) June 7, 1921 - May 5, 2015 On Tuesday, May 5, 2015 Olga died at Beacon Hill Lodge at the age of 93 years. Left to mourn are her children Barb (Reg), Gale (Roger), Garry (Donna) and Pat (Ernie); all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was affectionately known by all as Baba. She was predeceased by her loving husband Henry; both her parents and her siblings. Baba loved to do all kinds of crafts; ceramics, petit point, needle point, knitting and crocheting. She made afghans and blankets for premature babies, unwed mothers, Ronald McDonald House, AIDS patients and many more. She was famous for her dish cloths! A private service will be held at a later date. We wish to thank Beacon Hill Lodge for the kindness and care they gave our Mom/Baba and specifically thank the 6th floor staff where she lived, especially Hazel aka "Hilda." I'm so very sad to hear that my good friend has passed but I'm also sorry that I never made a better attempt at visiting her too. I hope that she understood the horrific times I've and over the past year or so taking care of my husband, Ludy who has dementia and is now living in Deer Lodge centre, permanently after spending 4 1/2 months in Concordia hospital. I'd like to pass along my condolences to her family as I know that they all miss her. She was a very good friend and always so willing to give to others. Olga, I hope that your after life will be better than here on earth if there is such a place. Peace be with you and no more pain to suffer.
