FINN ROY DAMM September 9, 1939 May 24, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Finn Damm on May 24, 2015. Finn will be lovingly remembered by his son Robin, his daughter Kirsten (Graeson) Wright, and grandson Kye. Finn will also be missed by Elsie and Darin Norberg as well as friends and extended family. Finn was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1967. In 1969 he married the love of his life, Shirley Nelson and enjoyed 39 years of marriage until Mom's passing in 2008. Dad worked for Dominion Bridge as a steel fitter and welder and entered early retirement in 1995. Dad loved playing soccer, riding motor cycles, and camping under the stars and when he could no longer actively engage in these activities due to his rheumatoid arthritis, his love of gardening, reading and gaming flourished. Dad you will forever be in our hearts and we take comfort in knowing that you are reunited with your one and only Shirley. In keeping with Dad's wishes, no service will be held, just a small gathering of family. If friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
