MARLISLE ILA STANGER (nee KITTLE) July 15, 1935 - May 28, 2015 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Marlisle Ila Stanger on May 28, 2015 at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Morton Stanger, father Hector Kittle, mother Amy Kittle and brothers Leslie and Murray Kittle. Marlisle is survived by her sisters Fay, Dorothy and Wanda. Marlisle was an R.N. graduate in 1956 and worked at the Winnipeg General Hospital. She married Morton Stanger in 1957. She and Morton had four children: Cheryl (Conrad), (Tom Ball), Maureen (Al), Rob (Marie) and Gord. She also had seven grandchildren: Steven (Ashley), Kathryn (Phil), James, Sabrina (Sheldon), Kyle, Adam and Meghan; and two great-grandchildren, Merideth and Jessie, which have been the biggest blessings in her life. Marlisle and her husband lived in Winnipeg until 1974 and then moved to Brandon, Manitoba. They spent many years travelling and snowbirding in Texas. In 2005 they returned to Winnipeg. Mom had many friends, predominately nursing graduates. They met every five years for their nurses' reunion. She will be sadly missed by her closest friend, Dorothy Kassa. Mom left a lasting impression with everyone she met and will always be referred to as an awesome lady. The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Cancer Care Manitoba and the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 204-668-3151

Dear Cheryl, Maureen, Rob, Gord and all your family.I was so sad to read of the passing of your mom. I will ALWAYS remember how she came over to our house when Dick was really sick and she helped my mom nurse him back to health. Your mom and dad both were an amazing couple. Always so friendly and pleasant. May all the wonderful memories you have of her keep her alive in your hearts always. RIP Mrs. Stanger. - Posted by: Donna Beyak Passante (former neighbor) on: May 30, 2015
