Alf, Chris, family, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Pat was always so chipper whenever you saw her. She always had time for friendly talks, even if it meant she didn't sweep that rock. My heart and prayers go out to the family. She is now at peace; practicing and making all her shots, right to the button, every time. - Posted by: Deb Funk (Friend (from curling)) on: Jul 19, 2015

I was so sad to see that Pat lost her battle. We shared good conversations during each of our battles with the "C" She was always so very upbeat and positive that I felt strongly that she could conquer every obstacle. She always made me feel so much better. She will be missed and lovingly remembered. May she rest in the peace of Christ! - Posted by: Mary Bibik (friend and bowling team player) on: Jun 08, 2015

I'm so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I met Pat at Friday night curling and had the pleasure to play with her a couple times. I'll remember her for her endless optimism – there were curling games where we may not have had a point on the board (and had no hope winning), and she'd still say we were in it or find some positive upside to the situation. My thoughts are with Alf and family during this difficult time. - Posted by: Lesley Nakonechny (friend) on: Jun 08, 2015

Sometimes we may not realize that everything we do affects not only our lives but touches others too. That was Pat. Everytime we offer someone a helping hand or show a friend we care and understand or have a gentle word to give we help someone find beauty in the precious lives we live. That was Pat. TO Alf, Chris, Frank and families my heartfelt thoughts and deepest sympathy go out to you. I will remeber Pat with thoughts of the warmest kind...she was a loyal friend. I will truly miss her. Dear Auntie Pat, Thank you for always remembering every special occasion for every person you know by sending a card. Thank you for making us feel good about ourselves as you triumphed over us in crib with that unassuming way you had. You will be missed and we love you! Oh, and thank you for taking me to Ghostbusters when I was 10 years old. I'll never forget that. You're a wonderful Auntie. - Posted by: Paul, Nicole & Jack Clairmont (Nephew & God Son) on: Jun 06, 2015

Dear Alf, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. You and Pat were the ultimate couple. I will always remember her kind heart and the most positive attitude I have never seen in anyone else. She was so bubbly all the time. In all the years I have known her, she stayed true to everyone. We enjoyed going to the ballet and trying to fit in with all the others; even though we knew we couldn't, but it was fun trying. I will miss her dearly... Stay strong Alf; Pat would want you to. Take care and keep all your good times near to your heart. - Posted by: Liz Clairmont (Sister-in-Law) on: Jun 06, 2015
