A. DOUGLAS BROWN Born 1919 - Winnipeg, MB Died 2015 - Calgary, AB Aged 95 years Doug was a tax accountant and worked for many years at Revenue Canada; then ran his own business and continued working into 2014. In December 1942, he met his "true love" - Dorothy Hay. They married September 1943 and were together for almost 69 years - she died June 2012. They are survived by their four children, Douglas, Linda, Lizza (Mick), Karen (Dale), five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and business associates. Doug loved the outdoors and camping in the mountains. He was basically extremely healthy until the end. He will be sorely missed. A celebration of Doug's life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive, S.W. Calgary, AB) today, Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
