Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY HOLMBERG Just before 12:00 midnight on June 1, 2015 Mary Holmberg passed away at age 83 of natural causes, surrounded by family. Mary was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on February 19, 1932. She was the youngest daughter of the late Fred and Dora Nachuk. She met Marvin Ross Holmberg and they were married in 1952. They raised five children: Laura, Christopher, Elaine, Marilyn, and Rachel. She was an avid gourmet cook, seamstress, reader, gardener, and fan of independent and international films. Mary loved to travel and journeyed to Mexico, France, Germany, China and Korea. Mary Holmberg is survived by her brother Metro Nachuk of San Diego, CA and her sister Violet Martin of Ann Arbor, MI. Mary's memorial service was at her home in Sun City West, AZ on June 4.

So sorry to read of Mary's passing. We knew each other when we all lived in Transcona in the early 60's . We used to have coffee every morning, her, Ann Logan and myself. Lost track after all moved from Winnipeg but still have good memories of those times. You children were all small as was my daughter Alana.
