Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I too knew Ralph in my early teens and spent time swimming at the "hole", I've often thought of those good times over the years. He was a great guy and so cute! :) We connected again years later. My sister Barb and I would spend hilarious weekends at Grand Beach with Jack Wall, Bruce Gilchrist and Ralph. I don't know how we actually made it there half the time, Ralph had this "camper van" he'd created...enough said. My sincere condolences to Ross and the rest of the family. - Posted by: Penny Coutts' (Friend) on: Jun 20, 2015

  • To you Murray, I did not know your brother but I know you (a good man) and I would like to say I'm so sorry that your brother passed away. We hope all goes well for his family. - Posted by: Harold Weiss (Friend to Ralph's brother Murray) on: Jun 17, 2015

  • Its been 50 years or so but still remember a couple of summers hanging around with Ralph and other friends swimming at the "Hole" (the Seine River)on St. Boniface G.C. at the end of Morier Ave and hunting for golf balls at Windsor G.C. Good lazy times! Ralph was just a real nice guy. My condolences to Ralph's family. Doug Wilson - Posted by: Doug Wilson (school friend) on: Jun 16, 2015

  • I remember Ralph from his childhood when the neighborhood kids would gather at his house. We were always encouraged by his parents to play outside. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Rest in Peace my friend. - Posted by: Evelyn Thordarson (childhood friend) on: Jun 12, 2015

  • I knew Ralph many years ago. He was 2 years older than me but we all hung out together when I was about 14 or 15. There was Patti, myself, Ross, Kenny, David, Terry and more. Life was simple then and we had a lot of good times. Ralph was always the quiet one. I haven't seen Ralph since I was a teenager but I remember him as a gentle guy. It is very sad to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family. Wendy - Posted by: wendy L. Fraser (old friend) on: Jun 12, 2015

  • Sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. I have not seen him in many years but often thought of him. Many many memories from our teen years! RIP Ralph - Posted by: Pat Basker (Childhood friend) on: Jun 12, 2015

  • I met Ralph through a ad in the local paper. Ralph and Rene came over and enclosed my deck for me and put a roof on it. They both did a great job and I enjoy it immensely. I used to laugh the way those two would bicker like an old married couple. Ralph was supervisor and Rene sometimes would just roll his eyes at him. I enjoyed their company and they did a great job. Rest in Peace Ralph - Posted by: Leta Klann (friend and neighbor) on: Jun 12, 2015
