I had the pleasure of growing up on Henderson Highway right next-door to Mrs Passey. She was such a sweet lady and a great neighbor. As a youngster she was always kind and warm towards us kids even when she caught us reading her garden she was such a sweet lady and a great neighbor. As a youngster she was always kind and warm towards us kids even when she caught us raiding her garden. After we moved to Vancouver in 1989 I would occasionally stop in and was always welcomed in by Mrs Passi, just like the old days. Sad she's gone but happy to see she got to live to 96. She lives on in many happy childhood memories. God bless. - Posted by: Jonathon (Neighbor ) on: Dec 19, 2016

Mrs. Passey was a friend to my father after my mother passed away. Ivy brought out a side of my father we never experienced all through our childhood. Her loving character will be missed. - Posted by: Lorna Kern () on: Jul 02, 2015

Sorry that I will be unable to be there today Russ as I have fond memories of your mom and times with your family. From weekends over to at your house to the Big Whiteshell Lake. From Russel don,t you pull to hard on that, and you procceding to pull the cord out of the motor. While your mom shook her head at you from up the hill. To her getting breakfast ready while singing to OB on the radio after a sleepover at the cabin. Sorry that time will not let me be there today as this is my busiest time of the year at work but will be thinking of you and yours Thinking of Old Friend Jim - Posted by: Jim Burnside (Freind ) on: Jun 16, 2015
