PETER READ February 25, 1941 - June 12, 2015 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Read on June 12, 2015 at the age of 71, following a battle with Emphysema. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Barbara Read; and his wife Wendy Colbourne. He is survived by his brothers, Gary (Sharon) of White Rock, BC and Terry (Diana) of Safety Harbor, FL. Also mourning him are nieces, Andrea, Jennifer and Alexa; nephews, David, Joshua and Ben. Great-nieces, Nicole, Isla and Ryker; and great- nephew Charlie. All who knew Peter were touched by his thoughtfulness and his love of family. He was truly a gentle man. He will be greatly missed but he is with his dear Wendy and is at peace. No service by request. A gathering to honour his memory will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.

Hopefully, I will see you on the other side and we'll get back to gymnastics, hockey and other important things. BTW, Richard Renshaw passed on July 15th so keep an eye out for him & say Hi for me. • I knew Peter when I was younger and have lost touch throughout the years but always remember how funny and kind he was. Everytime time we go together was an adventure and lots of fun. I will miss him and his smile. He was a gentle soul. - Posted by: Shawnee Scatliff (friends) on: Aug 05, 2015
