PETER VOTH It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Voth at age 67 on June 4, 2015. After a short illness he passed away at home in New Jersey. Peter was predeceased by his first wife, Cheryl in 1999, parents Neil and Maria, brother John, in-laws Emil and Eilian Larsen, brothers-in-law Len, Emrys and Bill. Peter is survived by his children Cal / Julie Sousa and Jen / Will Younger, and grandsons Bradie, Mason and Shade. Also surviving Peter is his wife Helen and family in New Jersey, sisters Agatha / Neil Wiebe, Sue / Pete Friesen, Mary / Bert Duncan, and brother Neil / Marlene, many relatives and friends. Peter was a kind, gentle and caring man whom everyone loved instantly. He grew up in Grunthal and was a barber for 45 years, he owned Cloud 9 / Town Plaza Men's Hairstyling in Selkirk. As president of the Selkirk Chapter of the Lions Club he received the District Governor's award. He had a great sense of humour and loved telling stories and reminiscing. There is a hole in our lives that can never be filled. Cremation has taken place. Private interment at a later date. Celebration of life will be held towards the end of August. I worked for Peter for about 5 years in the barber shop. Peter was a quite man of few words but laughed with no comment. I remember Peter said when Cheryl passed, That's it I am going fishing and not coming back. My condolences to Cal and tia and Peters wife Helen.
