We love going to The Blair House. We have always been welcome and more importantly included. Even at a young age we were allowed to be part of the conversation. It was a special treat to sit with the adults and hear all the ‘stories’ while drinking tea and eating dainties. Uncle Irvin had great stories and loved an audience. He also asked great questions and listened, you could tell that he was truly interested in what was going on in our lives. This tradition has continued with our girls and they also love the great conversations at The Blair House. Thank you Uncle Irvin for always greeting us with a smile and making us feel welcome in your home. Much Love, Ida, Jeff & The Girls - Posted by: Ida-Marie Poitras and Jeff Riddell (Family) on: Jun 25, 2015

We have so many happy and fun filled memories of times the four of us spent together as well as the memories we have when Irvin and Roger were together. The stories of those two on their own are priceless. Irvin, you will now know all the stories that Peggy talked about with us, the ones you thought you never heard. We love you and miss you. Till we meet again!! - Posted by: Roger and Megan Poitras (Brother in law and sister in law) on: Jun 22, 2015

I fondly look back on the wonderful parties we used to have on Parkhill Street and Peggy & Ir were always such a memorable part of them. Ir was always helping the neighbor's out and especially always willing to help dig someone's car out of a snow bank. His quiet manner and sense of humor will always be remembered. Thanks Ir for being such a wonderful neighbor (1957-72) P.S.Say hi to Ken for me - Posted by: Nancy Makela ( Paradis) (former neighbor and childhood friend of Ken Blair) on: Jun 20, 2015
