JERRY MICHAL TWOREK
Born: Jul 05, 1961
Date of Passing: Jun 16, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJERRY MICHAL TWOREK July 5, 1961 - June 16, 2015 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jerry Michal Tworek. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons Jeffrey and James, mother Katarzyna (Kay), siblings Ted, Christine, Ed, Barbara, Margaret and Peter, and also numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father Stanislaw (Stanley) in 1980. Jerry grew up in Winnipeg's North End attending and graduating from Sisler High School. An avid outdoorsman and a keen and skilled fisherman there was no need for Jerry to tell tales of "the one that got away". As much as Jerry loved his fishing he also loved and realized his childhood dream of learning to fly. He obtained his Private Pilot's Licence and could often be found at St. Andrew's Airport taking to the skies exploring Manitoba from the air. In later years Jerry took up employment with Riverview Health Centre and his kind, compassionate nature and sense of humour made him popular with staff and patients alike. It is difficult to sum up a person's life and true character in a few paragraphs. What can be said with absolute certainty though is that Jerry was a kind and gentle soul who will be sadly missed by those whom he knew and whose lives he touched. Rest in Peace Jerry... A memorial service will be held at Riverview Health Centre in the Worship Centre on Thursday, June 25 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please kindly consider a donation to the Addictions Foundation Manitoba.

We were all so saddened to learn of Jerry's untimely passing. Our families have all scattered and gone their separate ways but we have wonderful memories of time spent together when we were all much younger. Kay, remember how the two of us would troop up to St. Peter's every Sunday with our 14 children following us? Those were happy days. Rest in Peace, Jerry. - Posted by: Grace Malloy (Friend & former neighbour.) on: Jun 26, 2015
