My sincere condolences to the children - it is always hard to loose a parent, no matter our age; I hold to the thought that Nora is now reunited with her husband & with Gordie, all in a better place. May you find comfort in happy memories. Kay & Derek - Posted by: kay stewart (family friend) on: Jul 07, 2015

Nora was my sister-in-law. I remember fondly the evening spent playing Rumoli at their apartment in St James and the visits to their home in Portage La Prairie. I always enjoyed the stories told by Nora and Gord of some of the ridiculous situations they would find themselves in from time to time. We always had a really good laugh recalling those stories. God Speed Nora. Say hello to Gord and Gordie for me. I miss them both so very much. - Posted by: Dianne Kennedy (ex sister-in-law) on: Jul 06, 2015

Condolences to all - Auntie Nora was a real going concern and always made me laugh with her stories. Know that many are in your corner as you go through this next while and beyond. She believed and is in a safe and pure place now and will serve as your angel. Thinking of you all xo - Posted by: Valerie Cade (neice) on: Jun 28, 2015

So happy we managed to spend some time together year before last. I didn't have all my Aunts and Uncles growing up, but they were appreciated nonetheless. Auntie Nora reminded me so much of Nana when I saw her last. Rest in peace, condolences to her family. - Posted by: Leslie (Niece) on: Jun 28, 2015

Me and my family's sympathy goes out to all the Cades and the McDermids many I know and many never met. Thoughts go back to 349 Ferry Road and all who came and went. It was never dull there was it! - Posted by: J. R. (Dick) Stooke (Family Friend) on: Jun 27, 2015
