NORBERT TOUPIN Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Saturday, June 27, 2015, Mr. Norbert Toupin of St. Leon, Manitoba passed away at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn his passing nine children: Roger (Diane) Toupin, Diane (Roger) Gaultier, Robert (Lucie) Toupin, Nicole (Gilles) Vielfaure, Marc (Jo-Anne) Toupin, Mario (Corinne) Toupin, Guy (Marcia) Toupin, Richard (Monique) Toupin and Lise (Guy) Grenier; 32 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are his three sisters: Germaine Kunzie, Alice (Charles) Lewis and Agnes (Hervé) Pirlot; two brothers Gabriel (Thêrèse) Toupin and Donald (Fernande) Toupin; three sisters-in-law: Rita Toupin, Colombe Rocan and Marie-Thérèse Nadeau; four brothers-in-law Henri Audette, Maurice (Eveline) Rocan, Paul (Lise) Rocan and Guy (Jeanne) Rocan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Norbert was predeceased by his beloved wife Irène (née Rocan) in 2013; his daughter Dolorès Toupin; two brothers Bernard Toupin and Louis (Marina) Toupin; and by two sisters Thérèse (Gaston) Lapointe and Angeline Waring. Funeral Services will be held in the St. Leon Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 3, 2015. Prayers, eulogy and video tribute at 1:30 p.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Father Alain Guenou officiating. Interment will take place after the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. So sorry to hear of Uncle Bert's passing. With moving to B.C. the news takes longer to get here. If I had known I would have come to the service since I was in Winnipeg :-( Condolences to everyone, he was a great man. Many fond memories with all of you in Windsor Park and Somerset.
