Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALDEN GRANT WOOD 1959 - 2015 Alden Wood passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the age of 56. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth; his brothers, Irvin, Lester and Vernon; sister Nettie. He is survived by his wife Norma; his daughters, Colleen (Bruce), Dallas (Matt), Aldeana, Nikita and Burness (Curtus); and son Conrad. As well as 18 grandchildren, he leaves to mourn his passing, his brothers, Howard, Larry (Lannette) and Roland (Heather); his sisters, Thelma (Charlie), Betty, Lillian (Delmar), Mildred, Bernice (Tom) and Natalie, the many friends he took as brothers and sisters, along with special friend Ashley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Health Science Centre and to the many family and friends who gave their prayers and support. So sad my dear Uncle Alden has passed. I will miss his teasing and the big hugs and kisses he always greeted me with. My heart aches for his girls, son, sisters and brothers. He was a big man with a big heart, he loved his family and he wasn't afraid to show it. Rest well Uncle Alden, I will cherish all the fond memories I have of our time spent together.
