NOEL HANCOCK With sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of our brother Noel Hancock on February 9, 2015, at his home in Vancouver, B.C. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Noel, a long-time employee of Canada Post, called the Left Coast home his entire adult life. Music was his passion and his tastes were truly eclectic. In retirement, his greatest challenge was the daily completion of the New York Times crossword and he was consistently successful. Predeceased by his parents, Elsie and Reginald, Noel is survived and will be sadly missed by his sisters, Leslie and Roberta as well as many extended family members. In Noel's memory, family and friends are invited to gather between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on July 18, 2015 at 280 Burrin Ave. in Winnipeg. February 9, 2015 - the day the music died

I was close friend growing up in Morse Place. Remember his cutting humor. His early passion for vinyl...The Doors. And playing pool for quarters in his basement on a Saturday night. Lost touch after high school. But did not forget Noel. Great memories. He is missed. - Posted by: Jim Morris (friend growing up in Morse Place EK) on: Jul 08, 2015
