To Adrienne and Family, we just want to send you our sincere condolences from Victoria, BC. We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing; even though we haven't seen each other for a very long time, we still we still have wonderful memories of our younger days. A big hug from us all. I will always remember Joe with love and kindness. We spent time together when he and his brother Tony first came to Winnipeg. With my mother, Marge Scalena, we travelled to Calgary to visit the Florentine family living there, on the way, our brand new car broke down and we had to spend the night in Brandon. So much fun, the Brandon Fair was in full swing, so naturally we had to go on the rides. YIKES!!! Joe was brave enough to take me on the ferris wheel, his mistake, I was terrified!!! I think I was maybe 10 or 11 years old. I screamed and hollered so much, they stopped the ride to let me off. How embarrassing to Joe and all there. Think I threw up too.
