  • I have very fond memories of Marijan - we worked on many projects together at Carte International. He was a gifted and creative mechanical designer who knew exactly how metal could be bent into any shape. To say that he was a character is a true understatement! His Croatian pithy sayings were often comically absurd when translated into English, but there was usually some wisdom imparted in the process! His smile and laugh was infectious. He will be missed my so many: friends, family, and colleagues alike. My condolences to his family in their loss. - Posted by: James Cross (Work Colleague) on: Jul 08, 2015

  • Marijan was a kind-hearted and generous guy who was always willing to help.I worked for many years with him at Carte and he had a terrific sense of humour especially when he told his "old Croatian" sayings, most of which were un-printable!! One story that we will never forget was the one about the night that the Zamboni dies at the old arena!! - Posted by: Winston Madray (Work Colleague) on: Jul 08, 2015

  • My deepest sympathy to Marijan's family. I have known Marijan for many years and have worked with him at Federal Pioneer and at Carte. He was a man of great conviction and loved his family deeply. He will be missed by all who knew him. - Posted by: Allan Gogush (Work collegue) on: Jul 08, 2015
