Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA LYNNE WOOD (DINGWALL) April 9, 1949 - June 30, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia on June 30, 2015, in Ignace, Ontario. Patricia was predeceased by her parents Lee and Gordy Dingwall, and her mother and father-in-law Helen and Art Wood. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Dave, her children Kimberly (Brent) and Jason (Melissa), her sisters-in-law Judy (Stan) and Beverly (Sam), her grandchildren Ethan, Emily, Addison, Ferrin, and Mariella, and many friends and loved ones. Patricia was born in Winnipeg, graduated high school in Brandon, and completed her nursing degree at Misericordia Hospital in Winnipeg in 1970. She loved working in the operating room at St. Boniface Hospital for many years, and continued working after retirement taking on contracts in United States operating rooms. Patricia met her one true love, David and they celebrated 45 wonderful years together this June. They did everything together and were true partners in life. Some of Patricia's many hobbies and interests included sewing, gardening, reading, and stain glass. Her grandchildren were a big part of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. Her favourite place was Lake of the Woods and she spent many happy years there. She looked forward to the winter when she and Dave would travel south. Her pets were important to her and always accompanied them in their travels. Patricia was a very special lady who was loved and cherished by many and will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at The Gates on Roblin in the Sunroom (6945 Roblin Blvd., just outside the Perimeter Highway) on July 9 at 1:30 p.m.

I am so sorry to hear of Pat's sudden passing. We graduated from the ICU program together in 1991. We then worked together in SICU until Pat returned to the OR. She was a kind, caring nurse, who was always great to work with. I still have her Ichiban Salad recipe, and her Dirt Cake recipe which was a huge hit when my kids were little. Please accept my sincere condolences to your family. Asha - Posted by: Asha Pereira (Co-worker at St. Boniface SICU) on: Jul 12, 2015
