DARLENE EVELYN BLACK (LITTLE HUMMINGBIRD WOMAN) BEAR CLAN January 27, 1946 - July 9, 2015 Darlene Black, surrounded by family and friends, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother Marie Kennedy, husband Murray Kull, children and grandchildren: Frank and Corinne - Erik and Kristin; Kerri and Sam - Keenyn, Khelyn and Jaiveer; Jamie and Erika - Abigail and Helena, and siblings Lorraine, Frank, Arnold, Joanne and Yvonne. Last, but not least the Bou dog. Darlene was predeceased by her father Billy Black, sister Elaine, brother Hank, brothers-in-law Phillip and Patrick, and nephew Tony. Darlene was born on Hecla Island, but spent most of her younger years in Manigotagan. She will be greatly missed and will always be remembered for her adventurous personality, sense of humour and caring nature. To celebrate Darlene's life, there will be a gathering on Saturday, July 18 at the Canad Inns / Club Regent - Regent Avenue at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
