Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRALPH MADILL It is with sadness that we announce our dad and grandpa, Ralph Madill, age 83, of Niverville passed away peacefully in Winnipeg on July 14, 2015 with his family by his side. Ralph was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on February 8, 1932 to Anne and William Madill. He attended Robert Moore School and Fort Frances High School. Ralph married Julie and together they had five children. They moved to Fort William and then Winnipeg. He worked as a Carman for Canadian National Railway and retired in 1989. He then moved to the country and enjoyed maintaining his property in Linden, Manitoba participating in various trades to keep the property in tip top shape. Ralph was also a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Ralph is survived by Julie, children Marla (Randy) De Visser, Mark, Marlon (Lorelei), Myles (Teresa), Michael (Karen), and was proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren Barrett, Terence, Jacklyn, Elizabeth, Matthew, Melissa, Nicolas, Sarah, Anthony, Eric and Quintin; he is also survived by brother Don (Roma), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Anne and William Madill, and brothers Billy (Olga), John (Gail). Funeral services will be held at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg, on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., viewing at 12:00 noon. Following Ralph's wishes, cremation will take place and interment will be in Fort Frances, Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ralph's name to an organization of your choice or the Alzheimer Society.
