Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELAINE ALLICE LEONARD It is with heavy heart that we must announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, stepmother, aunt, and dear friend, for those who came to know Elaine Allice Leonard, during her rewarding, yet at times difficult lifetime, of 80 years, on July 15, 2015. Elaine was born in the Westbourne Municipality on August 30, 1934. Their family's farm was located seven miles south from the town along the Plumas highway. Mom was married to my father, Edward Leonard 42 years; they met while working for CN Railway in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Mom and dad enjoyed a devoted and true marital relationship right up until my dad's sudden passing, due to liver cancer in 2003. She was the last remaining sibling of seven brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Robert Scott; her brothers, George, John and Victor; as well as four sisters, Mabel, Muriel, Eva and Ethel. Mom is survived by her only son Victor, her granddaughter Nicole Leonard (Shad), her daughter-in-law Darlene Leonard, her stepson Wayne Leonard and wife Linda, as well as many "close to her heart" friends, nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place at Alcock Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 21 at 1:00 p.m., with cremation to follow.
