JOHN VEWCHARUK August 16, 1929 - July 13, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear uncle, John Vewcharuk on July 13, 2015, at the age of 85 years, at Park Manor Personal Care Home. John was predeceased by his parents William and Francis Vewcharuk; his brothers James and Samuel; and his sisters Annie, Lena and Margaret. John is survived by his brother Alex; his sisters Mary, Jean and Katie; his many nieces and nephews and their families. Born in Russell, Manitoba, John was a hardworking man with a gentle soul. Always smiling and always willing to extend a helping hand. We had the honour of bringing John into our home where he lived out most of his remaining years, surrounded by the love of his niece Tracey; nephew Wayne; great-niece Faune; great-nephew Scott; and his four puppies. We will miss our uncle's quirky ways and his hearty laugh. We would like to thank the staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home for the devoted care they provided. Cremation has taken place. At his request, a private family ceremony will be held.
