Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD JAMES WARD It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Richard James Ward on July 18, 2015 at the age of 52. Left to forever cherish Richard's memory are his wife Kathleen Audrey (Bachl) and his sons Zachary James and Joshua Benjamin; his siblings, Donna (Tony) Teunis, Linda Deneweth, John (Sheinha) Ward, Patrica (Nick) Garrioch, Carol (Ron) Coburn, James Ward, Sharon (Jeff) Kitchen, Joseph (Chantal) Ward, and Michael (Estelle) Ward, Kathleen's parents and siblings, Audrey and Jack MacKenzie, and Ben and Mary Bachl, Ben (Caroline) Bachl, and Diane (Herbert) Lausch, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold James Ward, Mary Mae Theresa (Scoffield) Ward, and Pauline (Daniels) Ward. Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba. For those who wish, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

As a newer soon to be a member of this family I will say this Richard was the first one to accept me as one of them and immediately treated me as one of his own nephews. He was always kind, funny, and always willing to share stories and his journeys through life.
