Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKLARA GARSON (nee BARUT) Klara passed away peacefully July 18, 2015. She was born in Poland July 28, 1928. Uprooted and displaced with her family during the Second World War, she journeyed through Siberia and Africa as a refugee, settling in England in 1948 where she completed her nursing training. Klara immigrated to Canada where she married her husband Tony Garson, moving from Toronto to Victoria and finally settling in Winnipeg to be close to her remaining family. She is survived by her daughter Eva, son-in-law Kelly, and grandchildren David, Jessica and Jennifer. She was and is dearly loved. A memorial service will be held at River Ridge Retirement Residence, 50 Ridgecrest on Tuesday, July 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Klara was a valued member of the Esquimalt Seniors Center. She volunteered for many things and was a daunting scrabble player. We missed her when she moved to Winnepeg. - Posted by: Lynda Halbert (friend) on: Jul 22, 2015
