THOMAS ADAMSON Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Thomas Adamson of Winnipeg, Manitoba on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Thomas is survived by his brothers Barney, Joe and Frank; son Jason Adamson (Jacqui) and grandchildren Jackson, Hunter, Alexia, Kerryysa, Cameron, Zachary and Ashton. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years of marriage, Diane (nee Preteau); daughter Janice Adamson; parents John and Agnes Adamson; and his beloved companion, Karen Commodore. For a good part of 27 years, Thomas worked for Kimberley Clark of Canada as a production foreman. In his earlier years he was an avid bowler as he won many trophies and was part of the Elmwood Kildonan bowling leagues. Thomas also enjoyed travelling to various places around the globe with his family. In his later years in retirement, he enjoyed being a caretaker for the North Kildonan Community Club for eight years. Funeral Mass will celebrated on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 315 Munroe Avenue . The family would like to thank Kildonan Personal Care Home for all their love and support. As well as special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Concordia General Hospital.
