GLENYS INA GREYEYES December 8, 1980 - July 16, 2015 It is with heavy hearts we announce the untimely passing of our beautiful Glenys on July 16, 2015, at the age of 34. Left to cherish her memory are her children Wes, Kamryn and little Wade; her partner Wade Courchene; her mom Leona; brothers Danny (Alexis), Mikey and Josh; sisters Miriam, Leslie and Renee; aunts Suzie (Rich) and Cindy (Russ); special cousins Britt (Mick) and Raina; BFF Zoey; and many special extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her dad Gabriel in the early 1990s. She'll be remembered for her generous spirit and giving nature. She was a true helper doing what she could for family and friends in their time of need. She was a wonderful mom and loved her children with all her heart. She was a true friend to all and will be missed by many. Services will be held at the Aboriginal Chapel on Friday, July 24, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., 724 Selkirk Ave. Cremation to follow and private family interment at a later date.

  • We meet when she was around 16,17 she knew my girlfriend and found out I was a greyeyes and asked me if and what I knew about her dad told her what I could and since then I've always felt close to her always warmed my heart when I seen her last time was about 2 weeks ago if I knew it would have been the last time I would have sat down and had a talk with her but I was working but we shared a couple of jokes and she was on her way. I felt closer to her than some of my blood line cuzzin and nephews and nieces. I still tear up when I think to hard about never seeing her again but I know she is with her dad now and she is at piece meeting him R.I.P.
