• So very sorry to hear of Shannon's passing. I work in the paging dept of HSC and spoke with Shannon often on weekends when she was supervisor. She was always pleasant and ready to remedy any tough situation with a great attitude - no task for her was too hard -- and always a great sense of humor -- will miss her very much!! Almost broke my heart today when Psych unit said to me "what do u mean only one supervisor? isn't it Shannon today?" and I couldn't say anything (PHIA) u know. • Shannon was one of the first nurse to welcome me to GH4. I had the pleasure to work with her during our night shifts.....every night shift was always good times.... Shannon was an amazing person inside and out. She mentored, guided and encouraged me to be the best nurse I could be. Her smile.....laughs and giggles made coming to work easy.... Thank you Shannon. • Shannon helped me develop into a new nurse with her guidance, encouragement and mentorship. She made you feel as though you were very special by the simplest of actions and words. Her exuberant laugh and caring spirit was palpable with each interaction. Although our careers went in different directions, when our paths crossed, it felt as though no time had passed and we were old pals again. She pushed me to be and do better.
