MARJORIE HELEN MITCHELL It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie Helen Mitchell on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Marjorie is remembered by her sons, Donald (Tish), Ronald (Hye Kyoung); daughter Heather (Kevin); grandchildren, Kimberly (Stefan), Ian, Amanda (Luke), Tabitha (Doug), Mackenzie, Amy (Glenn); and two great-grandchildren, Odin and Logan. Marjorie's greatest joy in her life was her family. She was involved in many clubs in which her children were involved, Crescentwood Community Club, Winnipeg Figure Skating Club and Manitoba Section. She enjoyed all of the family gatherings where her entire family came together. Her other pleasures were sewing, embroidery, crocheting, knitting and quilting. She not only enjoyed doing these, she also enjoyed teaching these skills to others. She was a member of the Manitoba Prairie Quilters and the Sew-n-Sews and the Nimble Thimbles. Over the many years she enjoyed the many conferences and especially the retreats, and time spent with her stitching friends. There will be a celebration of life on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winnipeg Humane Society or Quagga Stray Cat Rescue. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
