Laszlo hired me as his secretary in the late 1980's and I worked for him for a year. I was over-educated, black and had never worked in an office so he wasn't sure what I was doing applying for the job. But when I told him I could type 70 wpm, he was intrigued. I told him I had been practicing typing from 6 -7 a.m. every morning for 6 months in order to improve myself and he hired me on the spot. He taught me so very much, so patiently and with great kindness. In his desk, he had newspaper clippings of the arrival of his children in Canada and he showed them to me one day. At that point, I knew he considered me a friend. Laszlo was one of a handful of heroes in my life, the first of two from Hungary, interestingly. RIP dear Laszlo. - Posted by: Margaret Gudmundson (Former Employee) on: Jan 01, 2016

Met Laszlo in 1990 when working for a real estate company. He used to love going to Jets games back then. I was just starting out in my career. I will never forget him. - Posted by: Lana (Friend) on: Sep 02, 2015
