Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN ANNA BORT It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Jean Anna Bort on July 20, 2015 at the family residence. Jean is survived by her step-mother Stefania, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jean was predeceased by her birth mother Mary on October 20, 1969 and her father Marian on January 21, 2015. Jean was born on December 30, 1962, attending school in Winnipeg and attaining a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Studies and Political Science from the University of Winnipeg. Since early childhood, Jean was an active member of the Holy Ghost Church. Jean will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends alike. Prayers will be said on Sunday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street. We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Jean's passing. It is always disheartening when someone still in their prime of life passes away. I have fond memories (Margaret] of Jean and I attending the Signature Craft Show and dining out afterwards. Jean along with Stefania always treated so kindly and were hospitable to us, when we came to visit them at their home. We will miss our little chit chats. We know that Jean was of deep faith ,and that she is now in God's loving arms .Our deepest sympathy to you Stefania.
