Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT DALE (BOB) ARMSTRONG With great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Dale Bob' Armstrong, of Prince George, BC, on July 13, 2015 at the Crossroads Inlet Hospice in Port Moody, BC after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Winnipeg, MB on November 24, 1938, he joined the Canadian Navy as a young man and headed west. After 10 years in Esquimalt, BC Bob transferred to the Canadian Armed Forces and moved his young family first to CFB Penhold, AB, then on to Prince George to work at CFB Baldy Hughes, where he took early retirement at the age of 42 and eventually found his dream job working at the Husky Oil Refinery until his retirement at age 65. Bob is survived by his son, Kevin Armstrong (Deni), brother, George Armstrong (Loretta), stepson, Michael Loreth, stepdaughter, Deb Nielsen (Dave), grandchildren, Kailea, Asher, Matthew and Katie. He was predeceased by wife, Valerie Charlie' Armstrong, wife, Sue Ryan Armstrong, son, Shawn, and siblings, Dorothy, Edward and Glen. Memorial Services will be held on August 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Assman's Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossroads Inlet Hospice in Port Moody, the Prince George Hospice, St. Vincent de Paul, or a charity of your choice.
