Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Stan was a gifted architect and planner and will always be fondly remembered for his integrity, kindness, generosity and, not least, for his sense of humour. We spent many happy times with Stan and his charming and gracious wife, Georgia. Stan was a good friend and a gentleman in every sense of the word. Stan, you made a difference and you will be missed by many. - Posted by: Alan Parry (Old Friend) on: Aug 19, 2015

  • We first met Stan and Georgia some 50 years ago through our employment and became immediate friends. After Georgia's passing we established a routine of getting together a couple of times a year for lunch, only interrupted when we lived in Toronto for awhile. Stan was a man of class, of kind heart, a gentleman and most of all a dear friend. We'll both miss our times together with Stan and remember him fondly. Rest Easy Stan. - Posted by: Carl & Marilyn Anderson (Old Friends) on: Aug 15, 2015

  • I grew up knowing "Uncle Stan" and "Aunty Georgia" as Family. I was shocked later in life when I was told that they were not actually family, but the greatest of my parents friends. Uncle Stan has always been, and will always be a positive influence in my life. When I hear good jazz, or smell cigar smoke, I will pause and think of my "Uncle Stan". - Posted by: Kevin Kubota (Extended Family ) on: Aug 11, 2015

  • Although I was only introduced to Uncle Stan later in life he was always kind and welcoming to me. He was a generous and caring man and I will remember him fondly. My condolences to the Osaka Family. - Posted by: Sakura Iwagami (Late nephew's widow) on: Aug 06, 2015
