EDWARD GEORGE WISE May 5, 1932 - July 26, 2015 With heavy hearts we announce Ed's passing at Riverview Health Centre on Sunday, July 26, 2015, beloved husband, father and grandfather. Predeceased by an infant daughter in 1960, he is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Wilma; daughters Kerran Bosc, Catherine (John) Ryan and Maureen (Sean) Worden; grandchildren Kyle, Marc and David Bosc, Kelleigh and Caitlin Ryan, Samantha and Sydney Worden. Ed loved to be outdoors, to tinker in the garage and would attempt to repair just about anything, mostly lawn mowers, but no guarantee. He was able and planted his tomatoes in the spring but Corey tends them now. Thank you to family physician, Dr. J. Ormiston. The family would also like to express their gratitude to CancerCare Manitoba especially Dr. J. Gingerich and Cheryl Greaves and the Driver Program for their compassionate care. Thanks, as well, to Riverview Health Centre (Palliative Care) for allowing Ed to have a quiet, peaceful and dignified passing. At Ed's request, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service was held Friday, July 31, 2015. The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, yet echoes on in sweet, soulful refrains. For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains. til we meet again. We're devastated to hear of Uncle Ed's passing. We can't even begin to relate the memories we have of time with him. Camping memories at Clear Lake from many, many years ago are some that I cherish. Uncle Ed was a wonderful man and he will be dearly missed. Our sincere condolences to Aunt Wilma, Kerri, Kathy, Maureen and their families. - Posted by: Doug, Heather and Lauren (Friends) on: Aug 01, 2015
