Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE ANN CORDER (nee RIVERS) December 14, 1923 - July 25, 2015 Surrounded by her loving family, Grace passed away peacefully Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Charleswood Care Centre. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Ernest and brother Bill Rivers. Grace is lovingly remembered by her children Rae (Myrna), Brian (Jean), Judy (Dave) and Doug (Cathy); her grandchildren Ryan, Mark, Erika (Dan), Candice (James), Brant (Becky), Jennifer, Cassie (Dave); and 13 great-grandchildren. Grace was raised and attended school in St. Vital. She married the love of her life, Ernest Corder on June 15, 1946 and they resided in St. James, raising their four children. Grace and Ernie were very active in the square dance community and made many lifelong friends during this time. Mom enjoyed bridge, lawn bowling, crafts and especially spending time with family. A lot of good memories were made around the family pool and yearly camping trips to Lake Brereton. In later years Ernie and Grace spent many enjoyable winter months in Plant City, Florida. A family service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the care and comfort provided to Grace by all the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre. We are terribly sorry to hear of Grace's passing and we wish the family all the best. We square danced and traveled with the Corders and had many good times together.
