I remember growing up in the North End and was very fortunate to see my aunt at least every few days, for years, as she was always walking around and I would either meet her on the street or on the bus. She was always glad to see you and would tell me how much she loved me and then, she would be on her way. Some say she was a little quirky, I say she was unique! In later years, I would visit her at Holy Family and she would just love that someone came to visit and would make me feel very welcome! My only regret is that I should have visited more. Life is so very short. I miss you very much auntie Annie! Love, Richard - Posted by: Richard Owsianyk (Nephew) on: Aug 24, 2021

My sympathy to the family. Annie was very much part of my teenage years. She had a great sense of humour and was fun to be with. I don't have a photo of her but I remember her with shoulder length brown hair with a hint of auburn, freckles and a lovely smile. She wore a very straight side part in her hair and she was the epitome of neatness. She stayed for awhile with myself and our girlfriend Olga Ellerman (Cholosky) on Dagmar St, squeezed on a pullout couch. We had a lot of laughs! Olga also sends her sympathies. As it is in this life, we never seemed to connect again but the memories remain and it was a pleasure to have known her and to be her friend. - Posted by: Marian Balagus (Smith) (Childhood friend) on: Aug 08, 2015
