HARVIE WILLIAM TURNER 1935 - 2015 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Harvie Turner on August 1, 2015. Harvie was predeceased by his parents John and Gertrude Turner; siblings Robert, Betty, Norm, Jack, Evelyn, Gord; and grandson Jeff. Remaining to treasure the memories of Harvie's life are his wife Gayle of 58 years; sons Clint (Laura), Doug (Judy), Rob (Linda), John (Jenell); and daughter Lori (Paul) and numerous grandchildren. Harvie was born in Toronto and moved to Winnipeg in 1952. His greatest joy in life was spending time with Gayle and their kids at the family cottage at Falcon Lake. Harvie was a successful entrepreneur and had a great love of sports and sailing his boat at the cabin. He fought a courageous battle with cancer the past 19 months. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses for their care and compassion. As per Harvie's wishes cremation has taken place. A private family funeral will be held at Falcon Lake and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
