Mom took her elementary schooling in Meadow Lake, SK, and was very active in sports as well as playing the violin and drums in the family band. She moved to Saskatoon with her mother Estelle and father Frank in 1941. She was a very determined and proud lady who raised two children from a young age with help from her mom. She was very supportive in all of Connie, Ronnie and Spencer's endeavors, including school and various sports. Inez was an avid bowler in her younger years, loved her golf which she took up later in life, and was a member of Riverside Golf and Country Club in Saskatoon. She also loved her time playing the organ. Her volunteer work included cutting and styling hair for CNIB residents, providing strong support for Ronald McDonald House and special deliveries for people "housebound" with the Meals on Wheels service. Mom's generosity will always be cherished. Mom, you may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. We will treasure your memories within our hearts forever. Special thanks to the caring staff at Thorvaldson's, the Poseidon and Comforts of Home Care, in Winnipeg. As Mom requested, cremation has taken place. • Inez was more like a mother than a step-mother over the years. She took wonderful care of my dad, Tom Early and was a terrific grandmother to my children Heather and Spencer. We loved her visits and visiting her. Those delicious cinnamon buns were a trademark. We will miss you dearly mom, grandma. Love Colleen, Heather and Heath and baby Evie, Spencer and Leah - Posted by: Colleen Early (step-daughter) on: Aug 17, 2015
