STELLA RAYCHERT (nee RYZ) With sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Stella Raychert on August 13, 2015 at Seven Oaks Hospital at 89 years of age. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack, sister Helen and brother-in-law Tony Kowalchuk. Stella leaves to cherish her memory, her son Ken (Paula), daughter Joyce (John), four grandchildren Tyler, Brody, Kristin and Kaitlin and sister Marlene (John) Trohubiak, as well as her nieces and nephews. Stella was born February 14, 1926 and grew up in Valley River. She worked at Eaton's for 20 years. Stella and Jack loved square dancing and she really enjoyed special times with her grandchildren. Special thank you to Dr. Longstaffe, Dr. Finlayson and the wonderful nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Thanks as well to the staff at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg for making Stella's last three years very enjoyable and comfortable for both her and her family. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stella's name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
