ROGER COLLETTE Peacefully July 26, 2015 Roger passed away in Rouyn-Noranda, PQ, with family by his side. Born in 1933, son of Maxime and Cécile Collette, he left Manitoba in 1953 to pursue his musical dream. During his career, he accompanied the likes of Marcel Martel, Tommy Hunter, Carl Smith. He did some back-up for Buck Owen at the Calgary Stampede in late 60's. He was an invited guest at the Festival du Voyageur, CKSB radio show Ranch 1250, CBC Toronto Tommy Hunter Show, CKRN-TV Le Ranch a Willie and CKSO-TV Jamboree. He recorded in both French and English. Roger was predeceased by his wife, Marthe and his parents. He leaves to mourn his partner, Françoise Campagna and her family; his four brothers Roland, Marcel, Antonio, Gilles and one sister Gisele Labossiere. Funeral and burial has taken place in Rouyn-Noranda.
