Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOYCE ANN HOUSTON After a valiant battle, with her family by her side, Joyce passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the age of 70. She leaves behind her son Cory (Ingrid), daughter Brenda, her sisters Myrtle and Sadie (Leon), brothers Dennis (Marie) and Roland, grandchildren Reagan, Andrew, Chani, Jenna, Tyler, Dylan, Ryan, Quinn and Jordan, great-grandchildren Addison, Lucas, Aubrey, Jaxon and Jase, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Agnes, her brothers Stanford, Clifford, Kenny, and Douglas, and sister Rose. Joyce was a very proud grandmother. She spent a lot of time with them playing games, cooking, storytelling and always laughing. She was very active in her church and community, running a children's lunch program and food bank. Service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, 412 Tweed Ave., Winnipeg.

Auntie Joyce was my husbands aunt, a wonderful lady who always had a smile and a compliment, and a helping hand. She passed 6 days before my mom, probably so she could get Heaven ready for my mom even though they had never met.
