PAULE MARIE KERR On August 20, 2015, Paule Marie Kerr passed away peacefully at the age of 93. She will be greatly missed by her husband Garth, her family and friends. Affectionately known as Nanny, she lived her life in Winnipeg, but her heart was always in Kenora, Ontario on Lake of the Woods. Nan will be remembered for countless gourmet dinners and evenings of fun and laughter at the family cottage on Turnbull Island. She was always happiest at Lake of the Woods whether if it was quietly reading on the dock or entertaining three generations of family. Paule was an explorer. Studying French in Tours, hosteling with the Franciscans in Old Jerusalem, discovering a new Caribbean island, or riding an old train along the Nile, she loved to soak in the culture of every place she travelled. Life was a great adventure and she savoured every moment. A private family funeral and interment will take place at a later date.

  • We first came to know Paule and Garth almost 11 years ago when we all moved in to Camrose Gardens. They were our neighbours and lived directly below us. We were so sad to hear of Paule's passing. She will be missed, as will be Garth, who we understand has moved into a care home. Our deepest sympathy is extended to the family. Sincerely, Ron and Cheryl Warner - Posted by: Paule Kerr (neighbour at Camrose Gardens) on: Aug 23, 2015
