I was so sad to hear of Marlene's passing. We worked together at Canada Post for many years. Marlene's experience, wisdom, sense of humour, and leadership made working with her a pleasure. She taught me so much. We also shared a friendship outside of work and, being 2 single gals, we shopped, enjoyed appies over a glass of wine at The Westin, saw movies, and supported each other. I was so happy to re-connect with her at the Canada Post Real Estate Reunion - an event she helped organize. I am very grateful to have known her sad to think I'll never hear her laughter again. My condolences to her family - she was so proud of you. - Posted by: Cheryl Taiji (Friend, co-worker) on: Sep 24, 2015

To the Gouge Family: I would like to offer our deepest condolences to the Gouge family. Marlene will be missed. We have known each other for many years. She was a colleague, a mother, a grandmother and most of all, to me, a friend. I will miss her phone calls and her excitement about her family, her trips, and her next plan of interest. Marlene’s retirement was too short, and I am saddened by her passing. Marlene, rest in peace, knowing you’ve touched many people’s lives who will remember you with fondness.
