ISABEL MARGARET JEFFERY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isabel Margaret Jeffery, of Golden West Personal Care Home, on July 27, 2015. Isabel was born on December 4, 1911 at Balmoral, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her mother, Josephine and her father Jim, sisters Gwen Jeffery, Betty Maxwell (Noel) and Jean Bickell (Warren), and one nephew Jeff Maxwell. Left to mourn her loss are her two sisters Dorothy Martin (John) of Winnipeg, and Kathleen (Bud) of Edmonton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Isabel was raised on the family farm in Balmoral, MB. Isabel left the farm in 1932 to attend Normal School to become a teacher. She taught school in the Interlake, Lenard (near Russell) and finally the Brooklands School in Winnipeg. Her teaching experience spanned 41 years. She enjoyed 40 years of retirement, where she travelled extensively to many parts of the world. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Chads Anglican Church, 472 Kirkfield St., Winnipeg (Kirkfield Park United Church). Interment will be held in the family plot at the Stonewall Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If one so desires a donation in Isabel's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
