Kristin, I am so sorry to hear about your dads passing. I know you will miss him dearly. My thoughts are with you and your mom at this time. It is hard to lose a parent no matter what your age. Donna Leclaire - Posted by: Donna Leclaire (I Worked with Kristin at Mercedes) on: Oct 31, 2015

I have known Mike Owen from Scouting with the 1st Assiniboia Scout Group, he was an avid Scouter with the Assiniboine Scout Troop. He is fondly remembered as Trapper Mike...all dressed out in his Trapper's outfit, Coon skin hat, hide trousers and shirt. His .44 cal cap and ball pistol, musket and tomahawk...he was very good with all three. When ever the Cubs, Beavers, Scouts or Venturers had a project that involved use of power tools, he had a garage where it could be done.. We and all who had come in contact with him will miss his eagerness to help and his outgoing personality. - Posted by: Charles H. Cameron CD (Friend) on: Aug 27, 2015
