MARCEL BERTHELETTE March 3, 1936 - August 23, 2015 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, grandfather and beloved brother Marcel Berthelette on Sunday, August 23, 2015. Marcel was predeceased by: his loving wife Pauline, their young son Charles, brothers, Romeo, and Armand, sisters, Adrienne, Marina and Therese, and brothers-in-law Louis Chartier, Pierre Combot, Louis Combot and Hughes Fontaine. He leaves to mourn: his daughter Vivian Berube, sons: Alan (Tessa), Marc, and Chad (Flavia), grandchildren: Michael (Erika), Melanie (Travis), Christine (Justin), Robin and Victoria, great-grandsons: Riley, Parker, Benjamin, Eric and Nicholas, brothers: Richard (Bernadette), Aurele (Carrie), and Claude, loving sisters: Alice Finney, Flore Combot, Yvette Berthelette, Evelyne Ritchot (David) and Paulette Berthelette, and sisters-in-law Jeanne and Eva Berthelette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Marcel will be lovingly remembered and missed for his wonderful sense of humour and his endless ability to make people laugh, sharing tea and a conversation, his loyalty to his family, and his deep faith in God. After Pauline's passing, Dad was blessed to be surrounded by his brothers and sisters with care, companionship and countless meals. The family would like to thank Winnipeg Fire and Paramedics and the staff of St. Boniface Hospital Emergency for their care and compassion. In keeping with Marcel's wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass celebrating his life will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Marcel may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU & CO.
