Your love and beautiful spirit will forever be your legacy. We honour you and all you shared with us throughout your cherished 98 years. Marie was born on December 11, 1916 in Fort Alexander (Sagkeeng), Manitoba to Elizabeth Thomas and Allan Meade; siblings, Margaret, Johnny, Adam, Helgi, Frankie, Teddy, Henry, Arthur, Elmer, and Charlie. Marie grew up in Manigotogan, and then lived on Hecla Island, before moving into Winnipeg. Her family tree is immense and lives on through her children, Lorraine, Hank, Frank, Arnold, Elaine, Darlene, Yvonne, and Joanne. She has 26 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 52 great-great grandchildren, ten great-great-great grandchildren and four great-great-great-great grandchildren. She lived to have six generations through her lineage. In celebration of her life, a service will be held at Glen Eden, 4477 Main Street, on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Special thank you to the care providers at Concordia Place.

I am so sorry that I could not see you before you died but I know you knew how hard it was to see you.
