NORMAN YOUNG The family sadly announce the passing of Norman Young on September 1, 2015. He is survived by Berna his loving wife of 65 years. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his four sons, William, Douglas, Ken, and Bruce along with their wives Vicki, Anne, and Louise; grandchildren, Melanie, Christopher and Philip, Jennifer, Steven, Miguel, Natalie and Rob, and great- grandchildren Boston, Kendra, and Ava. Norman was always known for his giving ways. He served in the RCAF during the Second World War and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Following his discharge from the RCAF he attended United College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Norman was a trusted member of the investment community having served in positions in Toronto and Winnipeg. He retired from Investors Securities Management Ltd. as a vice president in 1985. He was a longtime member of the Deer Lodge and Granite Curling Clubs. A celebration of Norman's life will be held at Crescent Fort Rouge Church, 525 Wardlaw Ave. on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 3:00 p.m..
